Homework for January 26

Today in class we look at how to repeat key nouns and use consistent pronouns in writing to achieve coherence and did some exercises.

In class, I gave out the handout with a proofreading model and explanations of the corrections. For your homework for Thursday, I would like you to have a little practice in proofreading.Please, do the Editing Practice on pp.277-278 (handout). Read the instructions first before doing the exercise.

Group B: Please do the exercise on using consistent pronouns (text "Olympic Athletes").

Note: If your were absent, you can get your handout copy from a box with my name on it on my office door. :)
