Homework for November 22

For next class, please do the following:

1. Choose a topic on p.45 and write a 10-15 sentence long paragraph. Make sure your paragraph has a clear topic sentence with a single focus, good supporting sentences and a concluding sentence. remember to develop each of your supporting points with specific details. Use transitions to help guide your reader from one idea to the next. Make sure to use various types of sentences to make your writing interesting.

The paragraph has to be typed, printed out and brought to class.

2. Practice 6 and 7 on p. 171 from the handout on Compound Sentences.
