Homework for Thursday, October 20

Today in class we looked at the characteristics of a good topic sentence and practiced identifying effective topic sentences. For homework, I'd like you to practice writing topic sentences. To do that, please do exercise Writing Topic Sentences on pp. 29-30. Do the exercise in your textbook. I'll check the exercise at the beginning of the class on Thursday.

Please, do not forget to bring your computers to class on Thursday. We will continue working on setting up our blogs.
